‘Who killed Billie Eilish? Her brother, her sister-in-law?": one video too many
Artificial intelligence, now within everyone's reach, leads to abuse. This time, it's a video from a fan account of singer Billie Eilish that has got people talking. The video was posted on the TikTok social media network.
Her brother Finneas? Her parents? Her sister-in-law Claudia Sulewski? The creator of the video is calling on users of the platform to play a sort of online Cluedo game by guessing who killed Billie Eilish.
Finneas is far from happy with the game. "You killed a forest with the amount of AI used (for the video), and for what purpose," Billie Eilish's brother commented on the video. The creator of the fan account was quick to react, confiding that she had no idea that AI (artificial intelligence) had such an impact on the planet. According to Belgian media outlet RTB, she then went on to offer her sincerest apologies, saying that she had simply wanted to make an ‘amusing video’.
Billie Eilish and Finneas are both strongly committed to the environment. In fact, the singer has assured that she will be doing an eco-friendly tour. So we're not surprised to read the comment from the American singer-songwriter, who fights against the use of artificial intelligence (all the more so when it comes to the ‘fake’ death of her little sister).
