Disappointed with your Tesla? This brand's offering you 5,000 euros to break up with Musk
On 22 February, Swedish carmaker Polestar launched an unprecedented marketing campaign.
Want to change your car and sell your Tesla? Polestar is giving you the opportunity to distance yourself from Elon Musk. Through a vast seduction campaign titled ‘Tesla Conquest’, a Swedish brand, created by Volvo, is clearly hoping to win back disappointed Tesla owners, reports the media outlet Demotivateur.
Musk is no longer favourable in the electric car market. Many customers reject the billionaire's conveyed image, whose extremist policies aren't universally supported.
Premiums, leasing contracts, insurance... what else?
Tesla's competitors, including Polestar, see the shift in the electric car market as a real opportunity. The brand has set itself the challenge of attracting Tesla's disappointed customers and getting them to invest in the Polestar 3 model. To do so, it's offering a 4,600 euro bonus and a leasing contract on preferential terms, including insurance, maintenance and repairs, reports Demotivateur. What's for more, buyers won't even have to sell their Tesla in order to take advantage of the offer, as all they have to do is prove that they actually own the electric car.
Apparently, according to Polestar's sales director, the number of orders placed since the launch of the Tesla Conquest has been incredible!
