Fast charging bug on new Samsung smartphones

The new Samsung S25 and S25 Ultra phones have a rather chaotic fast charge. It's slow or discontinuous. For now, the Korean manufacturer advises using a specific cable.

After a month on the market, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra smartphones aren't quite up to scratch. Their 45 W fast charger is causing problems for many users. Users haven't hesitated to share their misadventures on Samsung forums and social media networks, particularly on Reddit in the United States. When charging, the phone has trouble to stay connected. As a result, the charge constantly cuts off, only to resume later. To avoid this inconvenience, some users have disabled fast charging and stay on slow charging, which is stable. While waiting for an update, Samsung advises using the 3A USB C cable instead of the 5 USB C cable supplied with the phone.
