‘Dragon': the new Russian weapon, more destructive than all previous models

The Kremlin is sending clear instructions to industrialists: modernise existing weapons systems and reinforce the troops deployed on Ukrainian territory.

In Russia, the military-industrial complex has been hard at work for months. Today, a new and improved version of the TOS-2 Tossochka has been developed. It's a TOS-3 multiple rocket launcher with thermobaric ammunition. Its nickname? ‘Dragon’. Its characteristics? The Dragon uses the same ammunition as the TOS-1, i.e. "220mm rockets with a 45kg warhead and a range of 400m to 6km", reports L'Indépendant

Colonel Markus Reisner of the Austrian Ministry of Defence adds that "the TOS-3 can fire missiles from a distance of up to 15 kilometres." This means that it cannot be hit by Ukrainian FPV drones. Reisner points out that this new horror weapon will be even more destructive than previous models.

The weapon has been designed to destroy and set fire to not only troops but also buildings.

According to experts from the International Campaign to Ban Nuclear Weapons, "a single salvo from earlier versions of the system (TOS-1 and TOS-2) can turn several city blocks into 'smoking ruins'".
