'Coalition of the willing' could become Putin's worst nightmare

Some brave countries are thinking aloud about joining Ukraine in an international coalition to defend a future cease-fire.

Led by France and Britain, this “coalition of the willing” is gaining traction as U.S. support under Trump melts away like snow under the sun.

Now Australia is also strongly considering joining this international coalition to protect a peace deal in Ukraine. The Telegraph reports. In addition, several European states have already expressed their willingness to send troops to Ukraine as a “security guarantee” should the conflict become frozen along the current front lines.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Saturday. “He welcomed Prime Minister Albanese's commitment to consider a contribution to the 'coalition of the willing' and looks forward to the meeting of defense chiefs Tuesday in Paris,” the statement from Starmer's cabinet read.
